I Sent This Crossword to 100 Friends, and Two of Them Really Liked It!
I’ve been crafting crosswords for a while now, and I’m always looking for ways to improve. Recently, I decided to take a leap of faith and send out my latest creation to a group of 100 friends and family. My goal wasn’t to become the next NYT crossword champion, but to get honest feedback and see how my puzzle fared in the real world.
The response was…well, mixed. Some folks just weren’t into it, some found it too easy, and some even called it “too hard” (gasp!). But then, there were two friends who absolutely loved it. They raved about the clues, the cleverness of the grid, and the overall satisfaction of completing it.
And you know what? That’s all that matters. The validation of those two friends, their genuine appreciation for the puzzle, was worth more than any lukewarm feedback or indifferent shrugs. It reminded me why I love creating crosswords in the first place: the joy of crafting a challenge that sparks a moment of mental engagement and leaves a lingering sense of accomplishment.
So, I’m sharing this crossword with you today, dear reader. It’s a testament to the power of personal connection and the thrill of solving a good puzzle. Give it a try, and let me know what you think!
